Abigael Sidi is an Editor-in-Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ She has loved writing for years and has joined every newspaper she could since elementary school. Abby has always loved journalism because of the way it digs deeply into unknown stories, and she firmly believes in the importance of keeping it alive. In her own writing, Abby loves to dive into intense historical and current political events. Consequently, her articles often can be found in the News section. Abby also values photojournalism for the visuals that it provides to readers; she thinks that giving readers an optical perspective of a story always helps to draw them in and retain the information that they read. Outside of school, Abby loves to read mystery and thriller novels, as well as listen to music. Her current favorite author is Alex Michaelides. Abby also loves to travel to new places with her family and discover new food dishes as she goes. Her love for food has even inspired her to write a food column for the West Side Rag, a popular Upper West Side newspaper. Abby’s journalistic experiences have led her to develop a true passion for it, and she’s excited to continue pursuing it in college next year, along with politics.
