Katelyn Chiao, Staff Reporter
Katelyn Chiao is a Staff Reporter and Instagram editor for ‘The Science Survey.' She finds that journalism is especially fascinating due to the fact that it has the power to influence the lives and opinions of people. Katelyn loves that photographs are able to connect us to our past stories and those of others. She greatly appreciated that photos convey personal feelings in a way that makes distant stories seem almost tangible. Outside of school, Katelyn fills her time with artistic endeavors, from painting and making pottery to visiting museums. She also loves to explore different cuisines, especially with desserts. Although Katelyn is still uncertain about her future college and career decisions, she is interested in pursuing a career in journalism.
