The Science Survey

Taylor Chapman, Staff Reporter

Taylor Chapman is the Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Science Survey’ and an Academics Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ The learning experience and creative process behind journalistic writing attracted her to participate in both publications. She views journalistic photography as fascinating because it aims to capture authenticity without staging while accounting for focus and lighting, an incredibly difficult task. When she is not writing, Chapman enjoys beekeeping, exploring Central Park, and making pottery. She loves to eat any type of pasta, and enjoys trying different types of tea. She plans to major in Computer Science in college, with a minor in English or Physics. Chapman is determined to keep writing in her life in some shape or form, but is still uncertain as to what job she intends to pursue.
