The Science Survey

Sophie Livingstone
Sophie Livingstone is a Copy Chief Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Athletics Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She enjoys both journalistic and creative writing and the influence one can have as the reporter of many voices. Furthermore, she enjoys the editing process and reading over peer articles as it gives many different perspectives on a wide variety of interesting topics. She has always found photography to be an interesting foil compared to the actual article as it shows and presents what cannot be put into paper. Sophie is very dedicated to extracurriculars such as assisting in setting up chemistry labs in Chem Squad and participating in the Bronx Science Model United Nations team. She is interested in both historical studies such as paleontology and anthropology as well as political studies such as law. She aims to continue writing journalistic papers but has always had a passion for creative writing and freehand fiction.
