Kin Yang, Staff Reporter
Kin Yang is a Staff Reporter for the ‘Science Survey.’ He finds that journalistic writing is an important way to explore and learn about new subject matters, as well as in connecting with fellow students on issues that matter the most to them. Through journalistic photography, Kin finds a balance between show and tell, engaging readers with thought provoking images that support his writing. He believes that reading good journalistic work is intrinsic to developing one’s personal identity, tying them into a broader community. In his free time, Kin enjoys being a part of Bronx Science’s Green Team, leading new initiatives to make his school a more sustainable place. His passion for finding new food spots to try out in Flushing, Queens, has helped him discover a diverse world of cuisines. In the future, Kin hopes to pursue a career in Finance, along with a minor in digital marketing, hoping to find a balance between creativity and productivity.
