Abigail Gutkovich, Staff Reporter
Abigail Gutkovich is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey,’ focusing on editing grammar and minute details in her peers’ articles. She views journalistic writing not only as an outlet to educate herself on pressing issues, but also a way to share something that will hopefully inspire readers. Abigail enjoys journalistic photography because it is difficult to compose a shot which balances visual appeal, substance, and storytelling in one image. Her favorite book is Donna Tartt’s The Secret History, especially for Tartt’s vivid style and eloquent voice. Abigail is a member of Bronx Science DECA, a club which focuses on marketing, entrepreneurship, and business leadership. Outside of school, Abigail has been a ballet dancer since early childhood. Although Abigail hopes to major in something finance-related during university, she aims to further her passion for journalism by eventually writing for a college paper.
