Cameron Leo, Staff Reporter
Cameron Leo is an Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Science Survey’ and a Student Life Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ Cameron has always loved to write, but she is passionate about journalism in particular because she views it as an instrument of advocacy for the political issues she cares deeply about. She finds photography to be an important extension of the journalistic process because it allows her to connect the audience to her story in a visual way. Outside of school, Cameron advocates for educational equity through writing and direct action. On weekends, she loves to be outside with her friends and dogs. Her favorite books are ‘Educated’ and ‘The Alchemist.’ In college, Cameron would like to study political science, public policy, or environmental studies, and could see herself pursuing a career in journalism or politics.
