Wasif Habib is a Managing and Advisory Editor under the Editor-in-Chief division for ‘The Science Survey.’ He ensures that all content is consistent and aligns with the publication’s image and vision. As a journalist for ‘The Science Survey,’ Wasif has an interest in introducing niche topics and ideas to readers. He believes that journalists must fully immerse themselves with what they’re reporting on. Otherwise, they compromise the authenticity of their writing. Additionally, Wasif sees journalistic photography as a critical supplement to a journalistic piece, as a photo that tells a story can breathe life to the writing attached to it. He also sees photography as a tool used to bring out the beauty of our natural world. Photography also happens to be one of Wasif’s hobbies, along with playing badminton with friends, and studying Islam. He believes that both photography and Islam can be used to highlight how beautiful life can be. In college, Wasif plans on studying data science and pre-med. He hopes that one day he can lead a global non-profit, bringing smiles to people across the world as well as in his communities.
