Saranya (Sara) Vichaidith is a News Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ She is passionate about bringing perspective to topics that are underrepresented in the news. She believes that journalism and storytelling are among the most important ways to communicate ideas, using words to convey a beginning, middle, and end. Through photography, Sara aims to create images that express creativity and help audiences feel meaningfully connected. Outside journalism, Sara is an active member of the cross-country and track teams. She also enjoys traveling to new countries, exploring new places, and sampling foods from cuisines around the world with the hope of visiting every continent someday. From a journalistic perspective, she enjoys researching business and finance topics and hopes to pursue a career in entrepreneurship in the future.
