Jannathul Hosen is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ As Copy Chief, her role is to ensure that her colleagues’ articles are pristine, yet engaging, free of any spelling or grammatical errors. What she finds the most appealing about journalism is its power to inform, inspire, and showcase voices that might go unheard. Journalism allows her to explore the truth, while uncovering hidden stories as well as connecting people through shared experiences. Jannathul is equally passionate about journalistic photography, appreciating how a single image can capture raw authentic moments that speak louder than words. Through her lens, she appreciates how photography can capture memories, evoke emotion, and bring attention to important issues in a profound way. Outside of school, Jannathul enjoys crocheting, painting, reading, and photography. She also enjoys exploring cuisines and trying foods from various cultures. While she is still exploring, Jannathul plans to pursue a career in medicine.
