Student Interest in Biology
Animal Behavior also allows students to get hands on experience, by allowing them to interact with the many school pets.
As the first science course that many students take at Bronx Science, biology has an immense presence within our school. The biology department features over a dozen unique courses available to students, expanding their knowledge of the living world around them. Many students choose to participate in the Biology research program, where they’re given opportunities to do research in laboratories alongside mentors, and publish a research paper at the program’s completion. From entry level mandated courses such as Research Literacy to advanced Post AP classes, the Biology department at our school has classes for people of all interests. Displayed are photos of students working within various biology classes at Bronx Science.
