Eshika Talukder, Staff Reporter
Eshika Talukder is the Spotlight editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Athletics Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She believes that journalistic writing is important in that it allows the exposure of different perspectives about one situation, while other mediums only enable singular and sometimes biased perspectives that do not necessarily shed light on potential varying viewpoints. At school, she enjoys her AP writing classes and is a part of many extracurricular activities such as BOSS/WIS, National Organization For Women, Muslim Student Association, NASHA of Culture, World Culture Cooking, and many more. Outside of school, she enjoys watching horror movies, working at the New York Botanical Garden, playing video games, and hanging out with her friends. Eshika hopes to attend college with a major in Environmental sciences/studies, though she is also interested in political science.
