Donna Celentano, Staff Reporter
Donna Celentano is an Editor-in-Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ As an Editor-in-Chief, she helps manage her peers’ work, providing helpful and informed feedback while copy-editing. The most appealing element of journalistic writing for Donna is the creative liberty that she is allowed in her articles, which enables her to write pieces she thinks are not only informative but also compelling. She finds it fascinating how in-depth each article can be, forcing readers to shift from novices to experts on the largest array of topics. In addition, the photography that accompanies is equally significant, providing readers content that is solely up to interpretation. Donna enjoys reading and writing, learning new hobbies, eating new foods, and traveling. She is a captain of the Girls’ Varsity Cross Country team, as well as a member on the Girls’ Varsity Indoor Track team and the Speech and Debate team. In the future, Donna hopes to pursue a career that involves service to others, one in which she can aid individuals less fortunate than her and help give them a voice. Many career possibilities lie within this range, including journalism. In the next ten years, she sees herself in a place where she is content, comfortable yet still motivated.
