Will Nowes, Staff Reporter
Will Nowes is a Sports Editor for the ‘Science Survey.’ What Will finds the most appealing about journalistic work is the liberties given during the creation process, whether that involves the focus, research, or writing style. Will finds the most appealing part about taking photographs that tell a story is that you can alter so many of the settings on the camera, henceforth creating layered photographs that when paired together portray a message and share deeper meaning. Outside of journalism, Will enjoys bike riding, especially in Fire Island where he has a summer home. Will’s passion is acting. He enjoys performing in school productions, but he feels like himself most on screen. Will is not sure what he plans on studying in college, but he assumes it’s most likely going to be based around marketing or business, assuming that he establishes himself as an actor by then. Will could definitely see himself pursuing sports journalism if he finds that his true passion lies there. Will’s main interest after college is acting, and in ten years he hopes to be on stage at the Oscars.
