Lucas Benjamin, Staff Reporter
Lucas Benjamin is an Editor-in-Chief of ‘The Science Survey.’ He is drawn to journalism for the way a single well-crafted story can shift how people see their world. Committed to delivering clear, impactful reporting, Lucas highlights important issues and stories within the community. Outside of school, Lucas founded InternSwipe, a student internship platform that promotes equitable access to opportunities. He manages a cross-functional team in development and strategy. Lucas is also the Director of Communications and a tutor for Science for Bronx, helping middle school students prepare for the SHSAT and gain admission to specialized high schools. Music is a significant interest, including DJing, playing piano, and exploring genres like house and hip-hop. In college, Lucas hopes to study Business Administration.
