Evan Li, Staff Reporter
Evan Li is a Features Editor for ‘The Science Survey.' He enjoys writing articles about political news and the sciences, areas that reflect current events and have broader impacts. Evan is passionate about journalistic writing that can deliver information in an easily digestible package and eliminates the barrier to entry for reading news. He believes that journalistic photography captures details without needing extra text and can act as both a stand alone work and a supplement to journalistic writing. Outside of Journalism class, Evan is passionate about debate and has been a member of the Public Forum Debate team for all four years of his high school career. He is also in the 4H club, centered around community service, and enjoys periodically participating in Hindi Cinema Club. Outside of school, Evan likes to go fishing and hiking out on Long Island. His favorite place to travel is upstate New York and the Swiss Alps. He plans on studying history in college but intends on continuing with journalism at his college’s newspaper. After graduating, Evan intends to get a J.D. degree and become a lawyer in New York City.
