Benjamin Fishbein is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey.' He believes that a diverse range of ideas within journalism is important as it fosters thoughtful discussion of relevant issues. Ben especially values journalism's place within a school such as Bronx Science. Ben sees journalistic photography as perhaps the truest form of journalism, as it can present the real world with very little interpretation. Ben greatly enjoys following politics and current events, and he is involved with the school's Model UN team. He also enjoys studying history and is the President of the school's History Club. Ben sees himself pursuing these interests in college by studying politics, international relations, or history. Ben also hopes to pursue journalism in the future as well, perhaps by writing on a college newspaper. In the future, Ben can see himself in a variety of roles such as working in the news media or offering political commentary.
