Aya Boulghobra is a Content and Proofreading editor for ‘The Science Survey,’ where she rechecks both the facts and the way in which they are presented in order to ensure accuracy in her colleagues’ published writing. As a journalist, Aya focuses on bringing differing perspectives on issues oftentimes overlooked through incorporation of research simultaneous to storytelling. She especially admires the ability of journalistic writing to transform any article subject into a multifaceted piece, subsequently highlighting broader points within the world. To her, the inclusion of carefully framed photographs further exemplifies such, reiterating the focus in a manner more digestible and appealing to any reader. Outside of school, Aya enjoys traveling, reading, and furthering her research in areas of study that interest her at the time. In college, she plans to primarily study biological sciences while continuing analysis of writing through minoring in comparative literature and potentially becoming an active member of her college’s yearbook committee.
