Alexei Landsman is a Content and Proofreading Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ As a Content and Proofreading Editor, it is his job to make sure that articles published in ‘The Science Survey’ engage its readers while also containing accurate information with no grammatical errors. He deeply values journalism because of the role it plays in keeping people informed about the world around them. He views being a journalist as not only an opportunity to teach others, but also to educate himself through his research. A key part of journalism for him is the photography needed to complete an article. He enjoys conveying a story through words, but believes that well taken photographs can only serve to bring that story to life for the reader. Outside of school, Alexei enjoys playing a wide range of sports, such as baseball, basketball, and soccer. He is passionate about modern history and plans to study it in college alongside the German language. Whether it be school related, or independently, this interest provides him the possibility of continuing to build on his journalistic skills in the future.
