William Fernando, Staff Reporter
William Fernando is a Copy-Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ William believes the gift of journalism is its undeniable ability to share moving and valuable stories, ones that not only share different perspectives, but also convey emotions and feelings that connect readers to real events and people, regardless of how far away those two may be. William finds that this goes hand in hand with the power of photography in enhancing stories told by journalists and depicting powerful emotions and scenes that can’t be captured solely by words. The ability of pictures to move the viewer is beautiful and timeless. William is uncertain of what the future holds but has a deep interest in Computer Science and Physics and believes that a better understanding in both is critical to propelling the world into the future. William plans to continue writing journalistic articles in college.
