The Science Survey

Sydney Teh
Sydney Teh is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and the editor of the Academics Section for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook.  She enjoys journalistic writing because it is something accessible and understandable by everyone.  Showcasing the ups and down of a community is essential to keeping people informed.  She loves photography, especially when taken candid, because it truly captures the mood of a particular point in time.  Outside of journalism, Sydney is the Captain of Congressional Debate and a tutor in piano at Queens College.  In her free time, she sings, watches baseball with her family, and is an avid margherita pizza consumer.  At any given time, she is probably wishing she was poolside in the Dominican Republic, with an ice cream sandwich, watching her favorite TV Show, ‘Grey’s Anatomy.’  In college, she hopes to study business management and marketing, potentially continuing later on to law school.  She knows that the skills learned in Journalism will aid her in reaching her future career goals.
