Rasheed Hossain, Staff Reporter
Rasheed Hossain is a Groups Section Reporter for the Bronx Science yearbook, ‘The Observatory,’ and a Sports Editor for the school newspaper, ‘The Science Survey.’ Journalistic writing is a great interest of his, as Rasheed has displayed his passion in writing by producing a diverse range of works from lyrics to short stories in his free time. Writing at the journalistic level is a way for Rasheed to develop his creative as well as scholastic writing skills. Journalistic photography is also of great admiration to Rasheed, as he is fascinated by the way in which a picture can accentuate the overarching effect a journalist produces. Rasheed is a huge sports fan and enjoys competition and teamwork alike, participating in the Bronx Science Boys’ Varsity Bowling team and community recreational basketball leagues outside of school. He loves travelling to new places with friends and family and making those around him happy. In the future, Rasheed plans to apply this positive perspective in whatever field he chooses to study.
