Namira Malek, Staff Reporter
Namira Malek is an Arts and Entertainment Section Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ Namira believes that journalism is a true art form, as it never has a right or wrong answer. Rather, the writing comes from what is within and what the writer truly believes in. Works of journalism help to teach others, while also providing a whole new perspective that others would normally not see. Photography has been an important part of Namira’s life, as she believes that photography can speak volumes and tell a story that words cannot. She believes the best part of photography is its limitless interpretations and that the story of the photo is fully unique to the viewer. Outside of school, Namira participates in the Model United Nations team at Bronx Science, which she enjoys due to the opportunities it gives her to vocalize her opinions and to meet new people. Additionally, Namira loves to read mystery and romance novels and crochet in her free time. In college, Namira hopes to pursue a career in politics or writing, as she wants to follow her ambition in ensuring that her voice is heard.
