Julianna Meyers is an Editorial Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and she writes articles and edits the Editorial section. She enjoys that journalistic writing requires in-depth research of a topic, to tell stories which inform readers and give voice to the topic. She values the fact that journalistic writing can open up a reader’s mind to different perspectives and possibly change their opinions on things. She believes that photography is a key part of telling the story and enjoys finding ways to capture an emotion in a single photo. Outside of school, Julianna enjoys reading and creative writing. Her favorite topics to read are about politics, historic events and science, and she enjoys writing science fiction. Her favorite sci-fi author is Ray Bradbury. She is not sure what she wants to study in college but is interested in careers related to architecture, space, or the ocean. In the future, she plans on pursuing writing as a hobby and is interested in learning videography and continuing photography.
