The Science Survey

Jamie Lee Nicolas
Jamie Lee Nicolas is an Editor-in-Chief of the ‘The Science Survey.' Jamie enjoys journalistic writing because it allows her to express her opinions on a variety of topics in a creative way. She believes that photos have the ability to tell the best stories, and she sees herself pursuing photography as one of her extracurriculars in college. In addition to writing for 'The Science Survey' and editing newspaper articles, Jamie spends her Mondays participating in either Mock Trial or Moot Court (depending on the season) and spends Wednesday afternoons taking part in the Mental Health Association. Outside of school, Jamie likes to listen to music, watch Netflix, bake, and talk to friends. She adores eating macaroni & cheese and gyros. She also loves reading coming-of-age novels. Her favorite books are 'The Catcher in the Rye,' 'The Bluest Eye,' and 'To Kill a Mockingbird.' In college, Jamie would like to major in either sociology or history. A topic that she sees herself studying is the feminist movement.
