The Science Survey

Jamie Lee Nicolas
Jamie Lee Nicolas is a staff reporter for the ‘The Science Survey’ and an Academics Section Editor for ‘The Observatory.’ As an Academics Section Editor, Jamie edits academic articles that go in ‘The Observatory.’ Jamie enjoys journalistic writing because it allows her to express her opinions on a variety of topics in a creative way. She enjoys photography because she believes that photos have the ability to tell the best stories. Jamie spends her Mondays afternoons taking part in Mock Trial/Moot Court. She spends Wednesday afternoons taking part in the Mental Health Association. Outside of school, Jamie likes to listen to music, watch Netflix, and talk to friends. She also likes reading coming-of-age novels. Her favorite books are The Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird. Jamie adores macaroni & cheese and gyros. In college, Jamie would like to major in history. A topic that really interests her in history is the feminist movement. She sees herself pursuing photography as one of her extracurriculars in college. She hopes that in ten years she has a good job and isn’t still in school.
