Ahana Chowdhury, Online Newspaper Editor
Ahana Chowdhury is the Online Newspaper Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and an Academics Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ For Ahana, journalistic writing is one of the ways that she can express herself and meet and interact with new people, so that she can compare the different types of opinions that people have. Furthermore, combining journalistic writing and journalistic photography allows her to practice vital skills needed in the future. Ahana enjoys diversifying her interests in both humanities and STEM fields. She likes to read, sing, and draw in her free time (in fact, she has entered competitions for singing and playing the harmonium). She also volunteers at the Jamaica Hospital Medical Center when she has the time. Although Ahana wants to enter the medical field in the future, she wants to continue journalistic writing and photography. Ahana has started her own website in which she writes stories, poems, and articles, as well as posts of original photography and drawings.
