Tanzila Haque, Staff Reporter
Tanzila Haque is a Staff Reporter for the ‘The Science Survey’ and a People Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She likes to express her thoughts on controversial issues as well as give advice about the places people should visit through writing and aesthetic images. She sees photography as a way to illustrate the aspects of society that are overlooked as well as capture moments that the naked eye often misses as she does with the homeless people through the Hope for New York Organization. Outside of school, she likes to go to the Metropolitan Hospital to visit the newborns located in the NICU department, try new cuisines, explore New York City, and play basketball and badminton with her friends. Also she loves to be kicked out of reality every once in a while through her books, with some of her all time favorite authors Marie Lu, Veronica Roth, R.L. Stine, L.J. Smith, and Lorraine Heath. She plans to major in biology and minor in neuroscience. She also hopes to help serve the underrepresented through photography and medical treatments in the near future.
