Sela Emery, Staff Reporter
Sela Emery is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ She focuses on art history, covering relevant art pieces and exhibitions with each issue. In addition to writing her own articles, she edits her peers’ stories to ensure quality coverage of topics ranging from news to arts and entertainment. She appreciates that journalism balances factual accounts with creative spins, providing readers with information that appeals to many readers. She finds that photojournalism supports this information in a much needed, visual way, allowing readers to fully grasp an article’s purpose and style. Beyond working for ‘The Science Survey,’ Sela enjoys debating and baking. She plans to study political science and art history in college, potentially intertwining such fields with journalism.
