Roy Chen, Staff Reporter
Roy Chen is the Director of Internet Technology, a Graphic Designer, and Academics Editor for 'The Observatory' yearbook, and a Staff Reporter for 'The Science Survey' newspaper. He finds journalism to be a medium of imaginative expression and believes that it facilitates constructive thoughts. Roy admires the art of journalistic writing and sees it as an integral part of a society. Roy finds the essence of capturing the moment to be the most significant aspect of photography. He believes that like journalism, it is also like an essential form of art. Roy enjoys programming and learning about new types of technologies in his free time. Roy is a member of the Sciborgs, one of the school’s two robotics teams. Although Roy does not see himself pursuing journalism or photography in the future, he plans on researching cybersecurity and computer science.
