Peter Rooney is an Editorial Editor for 'The Science Survey.' He Is drawn to journalism by the ability of stories to confront powerful institutions and narratives in the pursuit of truth and humanity, and hopes to use the pen and camera to accomplish this end. Peter can often be found reading Frank Herbert's Dune for the thousandth time in Carl Schurz Park, or anywhere else with trees. He adores poetry as well. Peter is also fascinated by mathematics and philosophy. With the goal of becoming an historian, Peter intends to study history and comparative literature in college so that he might use the stories of the past to color the truths of our modern world.
