Miles Yamner, Staff Reporter
Miles Yamner is a Staff Reporter for ‘The Science Survey’ and Managing Editor for ‘The Observatory.’ He writes articles for journalism and inform Bronx Science students about what’s happening around them. He also enjoys taking photos in school and out of school; he believes that a picture is worth a thousand words, and a really good photo is worth ten thousand. Outside of school Miles enjoys playing his guitar, watching youtube videos, playing sports, practicing throwing, and teaching himself how to cook. His favorite thing to order from Jay’s is a chicken burrito. Miles is also a part of the school’s track and field team. In college, Miles plans to pursue discrete mathematics or computer science in college - which relates to hilbert's curve which is especially important to photographic compression and dithering.
