Linda Chen, Staff Reporter
Linda Chen is a Graphic Designer for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook. She enjoys photography as well as journalistic writing because she is able to see and understand the world around her through them. Linda has always enjoyed reading novels and journal articles during her free time. This hobby has paved the way for her interest in creating her own pieces of writing. She takes inspiration primarily from photos that she and others have taken and takes pleasure in learning about the story behind each and every snapshot. Outside of school, Linda enjoys listening to music as well as visiting places around the city with her friends. After a day of hard work, she often chooses to sit back with a cup of tea or coffee and watch some shows and listen to audio dramas for entertainment. Linda plans to pursue Political Science in college because of her strong advocacy for improving the lives of people through modifying the system under which we currently live. She also plans on continuing graphic design as well as journalism during her university years through contributions to school journals and the yearbook. Although the future is uncertain and Linda believes her plans may change, she still looks forward to making positive impacts on society.
