Kristen Li, Staff Reporter
Kristen Li is a Chief Graphic Designer and Copy Chief for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook. She finds that journalistic writing is a great way to express different perspectives on a particular topic or event. She believes that the most appealing aspect of journalistic writing is the endless amount of ways to express a certain idea with different styles of writing. Kristen enjoys taking photographs that tell a story because it allows others to not just see the photo but to understand it as well. She has always been the person to take photos to document memories so that she can look back at them and reminisce about how she felt during that time. Outside of school, Kristen has interests in art and reading. She is the co-president of Book Club and enjoys reading different genres of books. Ever since she was young, she had an interest in art and recently picked up an interest in painting as well. Kristen sees herself using the knowledge she has of journalism and photography to capture the reality of the world.
