Eloisa Soto is a News Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ where she edits and reviews her peer’s articles in addition to writing her own. She believes that journalism is an important way to inform people about the world around them, and is crucial to expressing and discussing one’s opinions. She values the new perspectives that articles can bring to readers, and how it can foster discussions about important topics. When writing an article, Eloisa enjoys the researching and interviewing process, meeting new people and getting their perspective on the world. Eloisa values journalistic photographs for what they can add to the story, and how they have a more creative outlook on traditional writing. Outside of school, Eloisa loves to swim and travel, and enjoys baking. While she is unsure of what exactly she wants to pursue in the future, she wants to continue to develop her journalism skills.
