The Science Survey

Dora Cham, Staff Reporter

Dora Cham is a Graphic Design/Layout Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and People Section Staff Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ What she finds to be most appealing about journalistic writing and journalistic photography is all of the meaning behind it. She feels that in general, with journalistic writing, you are able to convey certain aspects of life that are not thought about on a daily basis. Journalistic photography presents the viewer with hidden stories and meanings, in which the viewer will have to interpret on her own. The stories that people perceive from journalistic photography is always different and it caters to that specific person’s perception of life. Outside of school, Dora enjoys watching shows on Netflix, such as ‘The Flash,’ ‘Supernatural,’ and ‘Friends,’ as well as penny-boarding with her friends. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career in which she is able to travel and photograph her experiences.
