Ashley Chen is a Content and Proofreading Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ She admires the creative and analytical nature of journalistic writing. Whether they inform, amuse, provide an argument, or simply narrate, journalists have the ability to uncover and deepen their unique take on a certain topic, broadening the reader’s perspective. Ashley especially enjoys writing about the current news because of her unwavering commitment to provide facts and personality for a diverse reading experience. She believes in the ability of photography as an additional lens to exemplify journalistic elements in a creative manner. Outside of school, she likes baking pastries, curating Pinterest boards, and watching documentaries. In the near future, Ashley plans to study the field of business, taking forth her passion for creative storytelling and reporting into college and the professional world.
