The Best Part of Science Classes: Labs

Anna Buhler

Experimenting in lab testing gravity.

One of the favorite things for students to do in their day, other than lunch and free periods, is doing labs. Bronx Science has access to materials that allow us to do interesting and fun labs every week. Our lab rooms are decked out with things to help students witness what they have been learning about in real-time. Lab lets students have fun with their group mates while being able to use their knowledge to experiment with the materials and procedure that is given to them. The findings can be cool and are new every week. Bronx Science also allows students to choose from such a variety of lab sciences that range from nutritional science where you cook in lab, to experimental engineering where you build. There is a course for everybody, and lab allows you to see exactly what you have been learning in real-time. These pictures zoom into the life in lab and the group work and fun that comes with it.
