Suhani Madan, Staff Reporter
Suhani Madan is the Chief Photography Editor and Managing Editor for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook. She enjoys photography because it allows her to capture beautiful moments in our environment and share them. She sees photography as a medium of storytelling through which she can convey a message that the viewer can see from their perspective and interpret. She also enjoys journalism because it gives a voice to those who may not have one and tell stories that would not otherwise be told. There are aspects of our society that are more hidden and not spoken about; through journalism, these things can be uncovered and explored further. Suhani also likes to watch movies, with ‘The Death of Stalin’ being one of her favorites because of the satirical and comedic aspects of the movie, and the director, Armando Iannucci’s ability to make an otherwise dark situation a bit less heavy. While she is still unsure of exactly what she wants to do in the future, Suhani hopes to make a positive change in the world and pursue a career that she is passionate about.
