Shawna Khuu is a Managing Editor and Advisory Editor for the ‘The Science Survey.’ Through journalism, she is able to dive deep into her creativity while also sharing her passions with an audience. Photography is a favorite hobby of hers: she enjoys capturing photos of nature and scenery. Shawna believes in the saying, “A picture is worth a thousand words,” and she dreams of having her photos exhibited in a gallery one day. In addition to wrestling and weightlifting after school, Shawna enjoys listening to music in her spare time and finding new spots at which to volunteer. Shawna is active in Key Club events where she is able to help the community and meet new people all over the city. Shawna is interested in pursuing nursing, where she will learn how to care for those in need.  Journalism has been a hobby for Shawna as she continues to share her stories through journalistic pieces. She plans to involve herself deeper into the photography field in the future while also working at a hospital as a nurse.
