Ruhika Ponda is a Copy Chief for ‘The Science Survey.’ She finds journalism fascinating because it gives her a platform to inform dozens of readers about current events. She loves to tell a story through her writing by providing her readers with facts and allowing them to draw their own conclusions. Ruhika specifically likes interviewing her peers for her articles because she finds their perspectives unique and invaluable. She also loves photography because photographs capture moments in time and enhance a story by providing a visual representation that a reader can draw from. In her free time, Ruhika enjoys participating in MMA and is an intern to a criminal defense attorney. From a young age, reading and writing were two of her favorite things to do. Specifically, her she loves the novels ‘Runaway Jury’ by John Grisham and ‘All the Light We Lost’ by Jill Santopolo. In the future, Ruhika hopes to attend law school and become an attorney. She sees writing as one of the most crucial skills that she will need in her future career, and she plans to continue to pursue journalism past high school.
