Rajiv Beepat is a Sports Editor for The Science Survey and an Athletics Section Reporter for The Observatory. A first year journalism student, Rajiv’s favorite aspect of journalism is the ability to capture even the most mundane scene or story and turn it into a work of art or a riveting tale. Outside of school, Rajiv plays three instruments, is in an amateur band with his friends, and loves cycling and taking photographs for his Instagram account. He’s not sure what he’d like to study in college, but he’d love to continue his involvement in journalism, perhaps even writing for his future college’s newspaper.
