Mandeep Kaur, Staff Reporter
Mandeep Kaur is an Arts and Entertainment Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ She finds journalistic writing to be greatly appealing for its ability to inform its readers on various topics in a creative, engaging way. Similarly, Mandeep believes that photojournalism is an extremely important addition to any and all articles as it enhances and supplements the story being told. Outside of school, Mandeep enjoys reading, writing, and various art forms such as music and film. Her favorite book is Khaled Hosseini’s ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns,’ while her favorite poetry collection is Amanda Gorman’s ‘Call Us What We Carry.’ Although unsure of her future career, Mandeep has a deep-rooted interest in the humanities and undoubtedly plans to explore this interest and study in the field. In doing so, she hopes to continue her pursuit of journalism throughout and after college so that she may continue to provide information of all sorts to the public in an interesting and accessible way.
