The Science Survey

Jasmin (Jazz) Sohi, Staff Reporter

Jasmin (Jazz) Sohi is a Content and Proofreading Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ who strives to combat misinformation and educate others on current events. Jazz compares journalism to a bridge between information and the mass populace of our world. To her, it is important to stay informed with news and current events in order to grow as a society and reflect on the past. Jazz loves longer journalistic pieces that weave together the past, present, and future in order to tell a compelling story about anything, even the most seemingly mundane topics. As Jazz looks into a variety of topics for articles, she is primarily drawn in by historical topics as she finds history to be a large part of her identity. Jazz also loves to travel the world in order to learn more about our world and the people who occupy it. While Jazz does not see herself going into a  career in journalism, she is very interested in graphic design and medicine, hoping to become a doctor in the future and helping her community.
