Jake Goldsmith, Staff Reporter
Jake Goldsmith is a Sports Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and a Group Section Staff Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ He believes that journalism is important because it allows people to share opinions and help audiences become informed. Jake also finds journalistic photography to be important because pictures can describe a story better than words. He also believes that pictures can connect readers to a story as they can visually see what is going on. Outside of the classroom, Jake plays on the Varsity Basketball and Volleyball teams and loves to travel around the world over the summer. Jake would like to study international relations with a minor in economics in college. Journalism helps Jake to develop as a writer and maybe one day, he will become a political journalist.
