Ivan Lacroix is a Staff Reporter for The Science Survey newspaper and an Athletics Staff Reporter for The Observatory yearbook. The work that he does for the two publications mainly consists of writing journalistic pieces and taking photographs. He has been in the journalism program for two years and enjoys the opportunities that come along with it. He is able to meet new people and to inform the public about stories they would have otherwise not known about. He enjoys being able to capture a single moment in time through photography, letting people see things that would have otherwise been lost. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and basketball, fishing, and growing rare plants. In college, Ivan plans on studying a branch of science, although he is unsure of which one. He will continue doing photography as a hobby, but not as a professional career.
