Elizabeth Gloria Jung, Staff Reporter
Elizabeth Gloria Jung is a Spotlight Editor for 'The Science Survey.' As a journalist for the Bronx High School of Science's newspaper, Elizabeth hopes to explore her introspective qualities through the mind’s eye with her writing. She believes that journalism is an art, one that does not require incredible virtuosity, but simply a creative and eager mind. Elizabeth spends her time reading Colleen Hoover romances, decorating her laptop with silly stickers and Internet cutouts, and listening to German folk music (her favorite song is Tanz Mit Mir by the band called ‘Faun’). Outside the classroom, Elizabeth competes nationally for her TaeKwonDo team, sings Korean ballads for the Lunar New Year Productions Club, and participates in multiple organizations in order to keep in constant touch with her local community in the heart of Queens. During her final academic year at Bronx Science, Elizabeth has decided to follow two principles that she sees as fundamental -- to enjoy her time as a senior in high school while it lasts, and to become wholly consumed in the creation of sentences that coalesce into meaningful and everlasting news articles.
