Sarita Satyanarayana is a Features Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ She decided to enter the journalistic field because of her love for reading and writing, which is a passion she has had from a young age. Sarita believes that the ability of journalism to offer diverse perspectives on a plethora of topics is what makes it such an awarding area to be in. She also takes immense pride in her photography. Her goal is to reconcile emotion and skill with every picture. When not in school, Sarita competes on the Lincoln Douglas squad on the Bronx Science Speech and Debate team. She also enjoys playing the guitar, hanging out with friends, and watching soccer. Though she is not set on a specific career, Sarita is contemplating studying law in college. She knows that the valuable writing skills that she gains through journalism will definitely carry over in her academic future.
