Prakritee Thapaliya, Staff Reporter
Prakritee Thapaliya is a Features Editor for ‘The Science Survey.’ She is immersed in the impact behind Features articles due to their substance and creativity surrounding multiple perspectives. She believes that journalism paves an opportunity to accentuate distinct perceptions about creativity, and she finds Features articles, in particular, to be an epitome of this sentiment. She also sees journalism as allowing for vulnerability and to serve as a narrative space to let ideas flow. Furthermore, she enjoys journalistic photography, as she believes even the simplest photo can deepen the meaning behind an article. Outside of journalism, Prakritee spends her time with the Bronx Science Speech and Debate team, where she participates in Congressional Debate. She loves to bake, create realistic art, and watch horror movies during her free time. In college, Prakritee hopes to pursue a major related to humanities and advocacy; she would like to weave together her experience in Journalism with her passion for social justice.
