Mosfirat Ubaid is a Graphic Designer and People Section Editor for ‘The Observatory’ yearbook. She is also a Staff Reporter on ‘The Science Survey’ newspaper. Mosfirat believes that the most appealing aspect of journalistic writing is sharing her experiences and knowledge with others, spreading information through creative means. In journalistic photography, Mosfirat finds that a good photograph evokes deep emotions and understanding. Outside of school, Mosfirat enjoys spending her time with her friends, playing video games, and taking long walks. Her favorite books are They Both Die at the End and The Hunger Games. In college, Mosfirat would like to earn some sort of marketing degree, and use her journalism and graphic design skills to create advertisements as a potential career in the future.
