Michelle Li, Staff Reporter
Michelle Li is a Copy Editor for ‘The Science Survey’ and a People Section Reporter for ‘The Observatory.’ She enjoys journalistic writing because she enjoys writing, period. And that writing is something that she would like to broadcast to the rest of the school community, especially during her last year here. Michelle considers herself an aesthete, so it naturally follows that she is partial to photography (if carefully-curated Pinterest boards are of any indication). Journalistic photography is an uncharted frontier for her, so her interest in it mainly arises from the fact that she is all for trying new experiences and would like to learn all that she can about journalism, literary or non-literary. She likes reading a hodgepodge of authors ranging from Agatha Christie to Isabel Allende, watching BBC dramas like any proper Anglophile, seeking inspiration at every possible avenue for any possible endeavor, writing, sketching, and just plain daydreaming. She thinks it would be cool to go into foreign service, as long as her future career path involves plenty of jetsetting.
